Interim Finance Transformation Lead

Investigo are working with a Local Authority who require an Interim Financial Transformation for 3-4 months.

* Lead and be responsible for the development and delivery of the 'finance' workstream
bringing about change in the way finance activities are undertaken across the Council.

* Work positively and collaboratively with all stakeholders across the Council and partner
organisations to identify opportunities for transformation, delivering service improvements
relating to the finance work stream

* Work collaboratively and creatively with all stakeholders and partner organisations to
identify, drive, and deliver transformational activities associated with the finance work stream
of the programme.

* Lead the review and improvement of finance related activities across the Council,
simplifying and standardising business processes through user-centred design, reviewing
service delivery and operating models and the potential for sharing resources exploiting
current and new technology.

* Be responsible for identifying opportunities to realise savings and efficiencies from a range
of opportunities through use of self-service capabilities and other digital solutions.

* Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and other organisations and
gather insights and intelligence that can aid bench marking and inform good practice.

* Contribute to the development of the final business case by identifying opportunities for
savings and efficiencies.
