Overall responsibility: | The primary purpose of this role is to accurately record all accounting records |

Key areas of responsibility: | · Manage the accounting team and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department for two different group companies including: - Accounts payable (merchandise invoices and overheads) - Accounts receivable (NRI) - Daily reconciliation of sales in cash and cards - Bank reconciliation - Payment runs - Cash forecasting data
· Maintain the Fixed Assets Register · Maintain and check the Balance Sheet · Calculation and submission of the VAT Returns (UK, IE, FR) · Annual audit · Month and year-end processes and journals · Group reporting platform and ad hoc reports for the group · Mentor and develop the team · Ad-hoc analysis upon request.

Qualifications & Experience:
| · Business Degree, · 5-10 years experience in an accounting role · Experience of SAP · Excel capabilities - can demonstrate understanding and experience · Fluent in English

Skills: | · Able to work independently and suggest solutions to queries raised · Team management · Strong attention to details/accuracy/controls of data · Strong analytical skills · Ability to organise work around tight deadlines. · Excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (executives, accountants, store managers). |
