FP&A Lead
- 9 months initially (Outside IR35)
- Hybrid working
Investigo are seeking an experienced FP&A Lead to oversee the financial planning and analysis functions within our client's organisation.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in FP&A and BI reporting, with the ability to analyse and manage financial data, prepare reports, and provide commercial insights to aid decision-making processes. The FP&A Lead will play a crucial role in reviewing and optimising financial planning processes, providing expert advice on standardising procedures, and leveraging Microsoft Dynamics and D365 F&SCM functionalities to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in FP&A and BI reporting, encompassing operational processes, financial data analysis, and the provision of strategic insights.
Process Optimisation: Review current financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning, to identify pain points and develop standardised future processes aligned with organisational objectives.
Expert Advice: Provide expert guidance on effective and standardised processes within the FP&A workstreams, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics and D365 F&SCM functionalities to optimise operations.
KPI Development: Lead the identification and development of divisional/regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to facilitate informed decision-making across the organisation.
Financial Modelling: Develop and build financial/cash flow models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Reporting and Dashboard Development: Identify, collate, and consolidate reporting requirements, supporting the development of relevant reports and dashboards to meet business-wide reporting needs.
Capability Building: Support internal capability development by empowering super users and champions to create new reports and leverage reporting tools effectively.
Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to facilitate the transition from current to future processes, ensuring stakeholder alignment and organisational readiness.
Issue Resolution: Make decisions to resolve process/product-related issues efficiently, escalating complex issues requiring Program/IT and/or business management involvement.
Project Reporting: Produce clear and concise project status reports, providing visibility into progress, milestones, and key deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and BI reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and D365 F&SCM functionalities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Project management experience and proficiency in reporting tools and methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
