Job description

My client, a well-known growing business in the Camberley area are looking for a full time permanent Accounts Assistant .

Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday) - Hybrid working model - 3 days a week in the office

Car park on sites with fantastic offices!
Job duties:

  • Collaborate within a professional, close-knit UK Finance team to support the business in delivering to major retailers.
  • Process invoices through the Accounts Payable system, covering SG&A, Supply Chain, Stock, and Inter-company transactions.
  • Resolve issues by communicating effectively (both verbally and in writing) with Vendors and key Evergreen Stakeholders.
  • Reconcile Vendor statements.
  • Maintain GRIR accounts and investigate any outstanding issues.
  • Ensure efficient and systematic electronic filing of invoices using IT Capture and Approval.
  • Assist with daily cash allocation in SAP for all Sales Ledger Customer accounts.
  • Support the approval of Staff Expenses in accordance with policy.
  • Help resolve blocked orders promptly in collaboration with the Customer Experience team.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations using online banking software and accurately record all transactions in SAP.
  • Conduct BACS and foreign payment runs by loading payments onto the HSBC banking platform.
  • Manage direct debits, including setup, control, and cancellation.


The ideal candidate:

  • Organised, energetic, and assertive, with the ability to adapt style according to the audience and situation.
  • Experienced as an accounts assistant is ideal
  • Proactive working style, capable of negotiating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly numerate, with proficiency in Excel and IT systems.
  • An organised, communicative individual with innovative ideas, who enjoys taking responsibility and getting things done.
