Vice President - Investment Bank - Compliance Frameworks

Job Summary:

The Vice President - Compliance Framework will lead the organisation's compliance risk assessment efforts, ensuring robust identification, analysis, and mitigation of compliance risks across all business units. This role involves developing and implementing risk assessment frameworks, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The VP will provide strategic direction and leadership to the compliance risk assessment team, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust compliance risk assessment framework
  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate compliance risk management into business strategy and operations.
  • Develop risk assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Ensure the risk assessment framework aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments across various business units and geographies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential compliance risks, including emerging risks and changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and business units, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance risk issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance risk assessment.
  • Continuously improve the risk assessment framework and processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in conducting and managing compliance risk assessments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to compliance risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
