Senior Software Engineer

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)

Salary & Benefits: Up to £65,000 + Benefits

Investigo are exclusively partnered with an leading manufacturing organisation, who are looking for a senior software engineer, who has a true passion for software development and wanting to progress their career. This role would see you working on a multitude of projects and applications as they carry out a complete software migration from off-shore back to in house.

This role would see you working on developing greenfield projects, feature enhancements and legacy migrations, you'll work closely with cross function teams and need a great understanding of development at least 2 of the following languages Typescript, React.js, Java, Flutter. You will be working in a team of up to 8 developers and really contributing to the companies direction of travel and ensuring the team are all working in unity to reach the overall company goal. A big push for the organisation is introduction of AI/ML practices and would give you great exposure of how this is implemented from start to finish.

Your role will also include the chance to influence the longer-term tech strategy and manage a team of software developers.

Skills

• 7+ years of working with two of the following Typescript, React.js, Java, Flutter,
• Working in an agile environment
• Having experience of mentoring and guiding mid-level and junior developer
• Stakeholder management
• Nice to have had some form of AI experience
