Job description

My London Borough client are recruiting for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team!

Location: Central London
Salary: £47, 394- 54, 222 + potential 10% market supplement for the right candidate

You will be required to:

- Carry out Day-to-day network operations
- Manager their network infrastructure, ensuring its availability, reliability, and performance.
- collaborate on projects, share knowledge, and provide technical guidance to ensure the successful integrations of network communications solutions
- Lead the work to ensure critical network and communications infrastructure is designed and optimised
- Work closely with their Enterprise architecture practice as well as the information security team to ensure compliance with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and PCN standards.
- Develop and implement improvement plans to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security
- Maintenance of network design documents and general operational documentation
- maintain network design documents to ensure accurate documentation of network configurations and topologies.
- Validate business continuity plans from Council services against system capabilities, to ensure viability.

You will require the following experience:

- You'll be a technical subject matter expert and design authority for their approach to networking, including Azure-based cloud network services, tooling, and platforms.
- You will have great communication skills and be keen to learn and contribute to their approach in this critical area, ensuring we deliver high-quality, innovative,
responsive, cost-effective services within budget.
- Proficiency in specific technologies: Expertise in Meraki SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Meraki Wireless, Palo Alto Firewall, Cloud, and on-premise data centre solutions is essential for this role.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimising

You will also need to possess one of the following qualifications:
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise
- Palo Alto PCNSE
- 500-220 ECMS - Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions
- Nutanix Certified Professional
