Location: Preston (Hybrid)

Salary: To £65,000 + Benefits

Job Description

Investigo is partnered with a global financial organisation, who are currently carrying out a huge data build. This role would see you having a true impact on the client that they work with, helping them utilise data to drive the business forward.

This Senior Data Engineer position would see you have critical involvement in implementing best-in-practice data set and helping guide there new data team. They are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and can really take ownership of the project, working in a small team but expanding team gives you a great opportunity to progress you career

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Data Engineer will have the following skills:

• Working on and delivering data centric projects with a deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and practices
• Strong knowledge of one of the following tools: Python, R, or Spark
• Strong experience with CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of a cloud technology (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Expertise's in T-SQL or a similar language
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to lead when needed and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
