Management Accountant (12 Month FTC)

Our Client

Our client in the education sector is looking to hire a Management Accountant for a 12 month FTC. This role can be full time or part time depending on preference from the candidate. Working with marketing and recruitment teams, this is an opportunity for someone who likes a varied role with international exposure and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly management reporting to budget holders
• Business partnering to key budget holders, taking ownership of a group of budgets and supporting annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting
• Preparing monthly journals in accordance to accounting standards
• Balance sheet reconciliations prepared and reviewed in a timely manner
• Take ownership of VAT recognition and work closely with international teams

The Successful Candidate

• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to simplify complex finance terminology to stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables and excel formulae at a minimum
• Experience from the education sector beneficial but not necessary
