SCCM Engineer - £400PD - Inside IR35 - SC Cleared

I am currently working with a consulting partner of mine who are looking for a talented SCCM engineer to join a client of their in the energy space on a contract until the end of the year. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) to ensure efficient software distribution, patch management, and endpoint security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure, including deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Oversee OS deployment (OSD), software packaging, and application deployments across enterprise endpoints.
• Ensure timely and secure Windows updates, patch management, and compliance across all devices.
• Monitor and optimize SCCM performance, including database management and reporting.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system improvements.
• Work closely with security teams to implement endpoint security policies and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on SCCM functionalities

Skills

• Windows 10 OS Imaging Engineer is accountable for managing the Win-10 feature/version upgrade release cycle by Microsoft.
• Experience in WaaS Implementation - WIN-10
• Understand each feature of new WaaS and WIN-10 OS build types
• Solution the upgrade/implementation of annual Win-10 OS release, driving change control, managing issues and escalation, cross team coordination and milestone management.
• E3 Level OS Imaging skills
• E3 Level SCCM skills
• E3 PowerShell Scripting skills
• E3 Level MDT skills
• MDT image capture
• MDT Driver Updates & MS Patch Updates
• AD GPO management change and investigation
• SCCM Packaging and Deployment
• Maintain Windows Compliance Policies
• Auto enrolment configuration of Windows 10 devices
