Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-established and highly regarded Specialist Law Firm as their Legal Secretary on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be based in their Reading office 3 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home from the remaining 2 days. The firm's total headcount is 90, with 28 working from the Reading office (including 21 fee-earners).
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for working for up to six fee-earners on a daily basis, typing legal documents, supporting the monthly billing process (including producing/amending billing guides, transferring time as required and creating invoices), dealing with incoming calls for fee-earners, booking transport, opening new client files, general typing (audio and copy typing), meeting/greeting clients and diary management. You will also be involved in general admin tasks such as photocopying, filing and ensuring electronic filing is fully up to date.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a least 6 months of prior experience in a secretarial, PA, EA or similar role, ideally in a Legal or Professional Services environment but this is not essential. You will be a strong communicator with excellent time management and organisation skills. You will be a professional, articulate, mature and proactive individual with a flexible, can-do attitude to all tasks. You will be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a close-knit team, and have a strong client care approach.
In Return
You will receive an annual salary of up to £35,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
