People Operations Team Lead (Shared Service) - 18M FTC - Watford/Hybrid - Up to £50,000 + Bonus!
We are seeking a skilled People Operations Team Lead to join a leading, fast paced, organisation based in Watford on a contractual basis (18 months). This role involves overseeing a small team of People Administrators, managing day-to-day operations, and coordinating people-related projects. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and consistency across all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including vetting, on-boarding, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 3 People Administrators, including work allocation and quality review.
- Handle general people-related administration and support various people-related projects.
- Coordinate the vetting process, ensuring compliance with all requirements and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Support the People Operations Manager in process improvement and team performance.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Basic understanding of HR roles, including employee relations, reward, payroll, and employment legislation.
- Experience in a regulated industry with employee background checks is desirable.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is a plus.
