Location: Luton Campus (3 days on site, 2 days remote)

Context
As the HR Systems and Database Advisor, you will play a vital role within this brand new function of the University's People and Culture Team. This team are on an exciting journey to transform the way it supports the wider business, and technology is at the forefront of this.
In this role you will be the main point of contact for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the University's various HR / Reporting Systems.
Under the guidance of the HR Systems and Data Business Partner, you will ensure the maintenance and development of their HR reporting systems. You will enable the effective provision of data, providing advice and analysis where helpful, and act as first point of contact for troubleshooting queries. Alongside day-to-day management of the database, you will also contribute to projects around data cleansing, analysing existing processes, data integrity and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role you will need effective communication skills as well as sound technical capability. Your ability to collate, analyse and manipulate data to identify trends will be vital, so we are looking for candidates with a natural aptitude for analysis. You will be able to identify potential problems and solutions, and use your previous experience with other HR systems, self-service technologies or people databases to navigate the complexity of the environment and change process.
