Programme Manager // Guidewire // ClaimCentre // Technology // Cloud Migration

CONTRACT / INSURANCE / INSIDE IR35

A London Market Insurance client has a requirement for a Programme Manager with Guidewire implementation experience to join their IT transformation programme. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing the IT department's programmes and projects related to claims.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of claims technology projects, specifically Guidewire Claims Centre upgrade and cloud migration, ensuring all projects are completed to agreed schedule, budget, functionality and quality standards.
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
  • Draft and deliver executive communications material and messaging, including reports and dashboard metrics on progress and any other adhoc material required by senior stakeholders.
  • Define and manage programme/portfolio delivery roadmap, detailed workstream plans, risks, issues and changes to industry best practice standards.
  • End to end accountability for the successful delivery of the claims technology projects and management of project resources.
  • Ensure ongoing alignment with other technology modernisation and value streams initiatives, managing interdependencies.
  • Manage programme and/or portfolio budgets and resources ensuring critical success factors and OKRs are agreed and achieved.

Key experience:

  • Deep Insurance technology expertise, including understanding of core systems architecture in a Commercial Insurance environment with a strong understanding of insurance business processes, claims lifecycle, and regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology programme and/or portfolio management, with at least 5 years focused on delivering claims processing systems.
  • Proven experience with Guidewire ClaimCentre implementations, including cloud implementations, upgrades, customizations, and integrations.
  • Proven experience in a complex technology delivery leadership role, leading, negotiating and managing 3rd party partners to successful outcomes.
