FP&A Manager
Global FMCG / Beauty Brand
£80,000 - £90,000 + 10% bonus
London offices
Hybrid working - 3 days office
Responsibilities
- Act as a high-level analyst providing insights to senior management while maintaining a hands-on approach to accounting matters.
- Identify, anticipate, and report financial and business risks and opportunities.
- Develop financial models to support ongoing and future projects.
- Prepare and analyse monthly reports, including:
- Sales performance by product, brand, and region, with forecasts.
- Shipment and retail selling trends with projections.
- Profitability analysis by customer, brand, and market.
- Cost analysis, forecasting, and recommendations.
- Financial simulations, budget modelling, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Comparative analysis versus prior years, budgets, forecasts, and plans.
- Lead budget preparation, reforecasting, and three-year business planning, including marketing cost allocations by region.
- Monitor operational stock control, including cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, inventory rotation, and stock reconciliation.
- Analyse and track business plans for new projects.
- Oversee intercompany transaction reporting and transfer pricing controls.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure monthly financial statement accuracy and balance sheet control.
- Gather and analyse internal financial data and market trends.
- Drive process automation and contribute as a key user in IT system developments.
- Participate in new business development initiatives.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Consumer Industry experience - highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take on additional responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
- Strong adherence to strict deadlines and structured processes.
