Finance Business Partner - Logistics

Retail / Fashion Brand

£70,000 - c£75,000 + 20% bonus & great benefits

London - Hybrid (typically 3 days)

This position is responsible for leading a team of 2 direct reports in accurately tracking, analysing, and reporting on EU Logistics and Customer Service costs to ensure optimal decision-making across the EU Finance and Supply Chain functions. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain Finance and is the finance lead for the Logistics and Customer Service teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead a team of 2: 1 Accountant and 1 Finance Analyst - develop a strong, highly capable team who are self-motivated to improve all processes and
  • Working closely with Head of Operations and Fulfilment Centre leadership team to interpret and utilise metrics for reporting and driving action to improve
  • Accountability for month end process, executed to a high degree of accuracy and timeliness (including management of PO and invoice process, postings, accurate accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations).
  • Report and communicate monthly performance & variance analysis in the context of operational KPI' s and processes; articulated on the monthly review calls along with any R&O's.
  • Ownership of the Monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and LRP
  • Partner Logistics and Customer Service teams to optimise cost and improve speed, service, and cost.

What You'll Need

  • A fully qualified individual, with relevant Accounting/Finance experience ideally within the retail/FMCG industry with previous commercial
  • High degree of initiative and ownership, a motivated self-starter who is continually curious and thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment where change is the norm.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to interpret data in various formats, and an excellent standard of verbal and written
  • Able to meet deadlines, working with pace and urgency. Can successfully balance multiple priorities, with a disciplined, logical, and practical approach to problem
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite, with heavy focus on Excel
