Credit Risk Project Manager

I am currently working with a Financial services client of mine who is looking for a delivery-focused Senior Project Manager with a background in Credit Risk.

Key points:

• The individual will be leading a key work stream to delivery a number of Credit Risk initiatives
• Agreeing project scope, managing, project resources, monitoring key dependencies and adhering to governance protocols and standards
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a very 'visible' environment

Desired Experience and Skills:

• 8 Years + experience in Risk Change, ideally aligned to Credit Risk as a Project/Programme Manager
• Knowledge of key risk metrics (PE,EEPE) and other Credit Risk methodologies including settlement risk and stress loss.
• Exposure to Devops tools to manage deliverables (JIRA, Confluence)
• Prior experience in credit risk system implementations and involvement in regulatory projects.
• Exposure to Credit risk systems, data, and processes involved in generating credit risk regulatory capital.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery.
• Experience in defining Testing approach, test plan and test co-ordination
• Comfortable being conduit across both business and technology facing stakeholders
• Comfortable managing resources to deliver multiple projects

Must haves:

• Financial Services background
• Credit Risk domain expertise
• Core Project/Programme Management experience 5 - 8 years at the minimum, this role would not suit a hybrid 'BA/PM'.
