The role:

Performs intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
Self-organised with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and with competing business demands and priorities.
Work on some major CRD enhancements as well as BAU support for Front Office and Regulatory needs
Focused on delivering value to the business with relentless efforts to improve process.
Liaise with end users for user acceptance testing
Carry out 3rd Line support as required.
Co-ordinate with 3rd party providers as required

Key Skills:

CRD knowledge is a must
Experience in software development methodology (Ex. Agile, Kanban)
Excellent problem solving, analysis and interpretation skills
Strong knowledge in SQL
Java, C#.Net
XML/XSLT
Python, Perl or Groovy
IBM MQ,
CONTROL-M
JIRA, Confluence, Crucible
SSRS reporting
Bloomberg
Some knowledge in cloud development AWS/Azure
Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket, Maven
Knowledge of automated test tools and automates testing
Knowledge and experience integrating with 3rd party applications
Business knowledge and experience around equity trading - front and middle office workflows
