Job description

A well-known public sector organisation based in London is seeking to recruit a Change Agent to work as a member of the Programme Change Team, with a need to understand and work with the change and technical teams to uncover the people change impacts for two different schools in relation to the new HR and finance system implementation that is being undertaken.

You will work with colleagues from across the Programme and Schools to create an empowering culture where transformation, innovation, creativity and change are integral parts of an individuals, teams, services and departments work.

Ideally you will have experience working in academia or schools.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Delivery of the Change Plans: tailoring and specifying technical implications prior to go live to help in the delivering plans for managing change with the Schools.

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns and providing updates to ensure their alignment with the change objectives. Establish mechanisms for receiving and acting on stakeholder feedback to the technical teams.

  1. Development and Readiness of the impacted School Staff: Support the development of the change network by being the representative for Schools by participating in UAT, training, workshops and communications, when required.

  1. Engagement: Working with other Change Leads, the Comms lead and SMEs to ensure communications are applicable to the audience and that they reach and are understood by all affected parties.

  1. Change Coaching: Develop and deliver change specific coaching/training within schools to ensure they have the right skills and behaviours to enable the change. Ensure employees are prepared for and engaging with any technical training provided.

  1. Monitor Readiness: Responsible for the determination and assessment of stakeholder readiness - addressing any gaps. Track milestones and adjust plans based on progress and feedback.

  1. Mitigate Risks: Identify and address potential obstacles to successful change adoption.

  1. Actively seek to implement the Occupational Health and Safety Policy in relation to the duties of the post, and at all times give due regard to the health and safety of both themselves and others when carrying out their duties.

  1. Actively seek to implement the Equal Opportunity Policy and the objective to promote equality of opportunity in relation to the duties of the post.

  1. To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested appropriate to the grade

  1. Actively support UAT activities and collate and prepare feedback back to programme


If you have experience of SAP then this is a bonus but not essential.
Must be available to start a new role as soon as possible and be happy to come to site 3 times per week in London on average.
