PART TIME - 3 days a week (2 of these are office based)
Mandatory 1 day in the office
Up to £50k pro rata

I am currently recruiting for a Part time finance analyst to join a Global Retail organisation supporting one of the Finance Managers. You will need to be able to work off your own initiative and have an established career in commercial finance.

My client is looking for a Head Office Costs Analyst to join their busy Travel Head Office based in West London. You will provide a complete management accounting service to the relevant budget holders and to ensure full support is given to the business in order to control Central costs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure accurate accruals and reporting for Head office costs, including salaries and all associated costs. Produce monthly reports to ensure good visibility of costs that enable budget holders to be accountable for costs.
  • Provide a good service to budget holders so that any queries / concerns are dealt with effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for Head office costs, ensuring all budget holders are engaged with deadlines and requirements
  • Administering staff costs, accruals and ensuring accuracy of costs posted, to provide detailed and accurate month end accounts.
  • Answering queries and being pro-active in creating ad-hoc reports
  • Liaise with line manager for the budgeting and forecast processes, incorporate requests and maintaining a clear audit trail of changes.
  • Produce Head office costs budgets and forecasts that are timely and accurate.

Who we're looking for:

  • CIMA or ACCA part qualified or qualified
  • Well organised with ability to manage own workload and prioritise
  • Ability to engage and communicate with non-finance employees
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders at any level in the business
  • Good excel skills
  • Accurate with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
