Change Manager: Communications Leader

UK/hybrid working

Permanent position

£60-65,000 plus bonus, benefits

International Household Brand is embarking upon a 4 year change and transformation programme and are seeking a change communications specialist to join the team and lead their transformation communications strategy, planning and delivery.

This role is integral to defining the communication strategy in partnership with senior leaders, and colleagues in the Change Team from a market perspective, in line with the project needs and market requirements.

Key deliverables

  • Creating a robust communication strategy for the project that incorporates how we position the projects to stakeholders in the business (considering the project stakeholders and milestones)
  • Crafting and shaping key strategic messages and defining approaches that get buy-in and influence stakeholders.
  • Develop and create high-quality content that can be leveraged across functions and markets (Share-Point, newsletters, videos, info graphics, etc.).
  • Ability to deliver engaging communications and share new, best-in-class, innovative ideas on communication.
  • Strong understanding of all our communication channels and ways of working at a market and regional level, understanding best practices and channel approach.
  • Managing various complexities (ways of working, stakeholders, culture) and adapting approaches from a market, functional and project team perspective.
  • Alignment and partnership with the Regional and Market Internal communication Directors and colleagues to decide on approaches, co-create plans and track progress (internal and external comms).
  • Coordinating, organising and facilitating engagement sessions for various stakeholder groups such as progress updates, community calls, and opening/closing training or engagement sessions.
  • Support the Project Team with various stakeholder presentations, reviewing/approving content and ensuring quality for the end user.

Selection criteria

  • 3-5 years in a communication role
  • Experience working in an international environment and in projects
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong technical skills (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Canva)
  • Influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK, indefinitely
