Job description
I am recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Assistant position within a dynamic team, in a Global Commercial Real Estate company.
If you have excellent communication and organisational skills, have experience working with high volume transactions and have a passion for finance, I want to hear from you!
- Salary - Up to £34,000 dependent on experience
- Hybrid working - 3 days at home, 2 in the office
- Location - Central London
Duties include:
- Maintain the cash management inbox and ensure all queries are cleared within strict timelines.
- Banking and allocating of cheques on a weekly basis.
- Sorting and distribution of post.
- Investigation of legacy unallocated cash. Liaising with clients, credit control and fee earners (within and outside of the country) for remittance advices; liaising with EMEA Controllership team during month end procedures.
- Moving cash between invoices and matching credit notes against invoices; arranging refunds of duplicate payments, overpayments and wrongly received cash.
- Allocation of monies received (including BACS/Chaps, cheques and cash) in multiple bank accounts, including EUR and USD, against invoices and cost codes.
- Process foreign, priority, HR salary payments and other urgent payments in a timely manner.
Skills and qualities:
- 3-4 years experience within an Accounts receivable role.
- Experience of working in high volume transactions with a result driven mind-set.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority.
- Analytical & problem-solving approach.
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently, being both autonomous & a team player.
- Good IT Skills including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, formulas).
