Job description
Purchase Ledger Team Leader - Bedford - Up to £40,000
(Predominantly office based due to the nature of the organisation. 1X from home per week)
We leading organisation based in Bedford is seeking a proficient Purchase Ledger Supervisor to oversee our accounts payable process. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the purchase ledger team.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Review and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements:
- MUST have experience managing a small to medium sized team to be considered.
- Will have worked within a fast paced environment ideally working for a Construction, Manufacturing organisation (or an industry similar).
- Leadership and team management experience essential.
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA Qualification desirable but by no means essential.
