Job description
My client, a rapidly growing firm on the outskirts of Reading are recruitment for a progressive accounts assistant on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working (First three months in the office for training purposes)
Flexible working hours - Flexible working starting any time between 08.00 to 10.00 with a 7.5 hr working day (37.5 hours a week)
Your responsibilities will include, for your allocation of clients:
- Post sales and purchase invoices
- Manage accounts payable mailboxes
- Supplier payment runs
- Customer and supplier queries, and client queries related to accounts receivable and payable
- Bank account reconciliations
- Day to day basic bookkeeping
- Provide excellent customer service
To be Successful in the Role
If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we can help you grow and develop:
- Accounts payable/receivable and basic bookkeeping experience
- Confident using Microsoft (Outlook, Excel) and the ability to pick up new systems (Xero and Dext)
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Solid attention to detail
- Organised and a problem solver
- Flexibility, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under time pressure and to tight deadlines
