Supply Chain Import Export Manager

I am currently recruiting for an Supply Chain Manager with some Import/Export experience for an expanding retail and online business. Its a fantastic company to work for with an excellent ethos and culture.

They are looking for someone with knowledge of current UK customs, export and import documentation and import / export to the EU. Managing a small team

• Liaising with our DC's , shipping companies, customers, suppliers and international partners to organise collection of goods, ensuring the import / export processes and documentation adheres to current import / export regulations.
• Manage necessary inbound documentation according to the partner/country specifications, ensuring relevant deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate export / import records for all international shipments and support HMRC audits.
• Ensure UK Customs regulations are complied with across the company policy and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with international partners/ freight forwarders. Ensuring strong communication with all internal teams.
• Advise internal teams specifically on current export / import regulations, ensuring business objectives are met and resolving relevant customs query matters.

Office based with 6 home days per month
