Service Design and Transition
York- Hybrid (2 Days on site)

*Establish the governance to support the service transition and release management practice ensuring that defined processes are adhered to when transitioning services from development into the live environment.
*Continuously review and refine the transition and release practices and related processes to improve efficiency, minimise errors, and enhance the overall quality of service delivery.
Service Transition/Release Management day to day activity
*Plan and coordinate the transition of new or modified services from development through to production.
*Work closely with change management practice to assess the impact of proposed changes, evaluate risks, and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to manage any potential disruptions to services.
*Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that all releases meet the required standards for performance, reliability, and security.
*Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition and release process, such as compatibility issues, infrastructure limitations, or potential security vulnerabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
* A Level IT, BTEC in Computing or equivalent.
* MCP or equivalent.
* PRINCE2 would be desirable.
* ITIL - V3/4 Foundation.
* ITIL - V3/4 Practitioner (Service Transition, Release Management - preferred)
* ITIL - Practice Manager (desirable)
* ITIL - Managing Professional (desirable).
