Working within the IT Infrastructure / 3rd Line Support Team this role will be key in providing technical subject manager expertise in a wide range of infrastructure subjects, such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Identity Management, Data Centre infrastructure & Virtualisation. The role has a leadership responsibility for a team of Infrastructure Analyst's

Top points of essential requirements / experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior infrastructure role within a large scale, multisite, environment.
• Previous technical leadership experience, including undertaking personal development reviews & 1-2-1's
• Expert technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Azure (certification's desirable)
• Experience of End User Device management / provisioning / patching (GPO / Intune)
• Virtualisation (ideally ESXi), Data Centre Management, Backup & DR, server level patching & vulnerability remediation
• Proven experience in delivering 3rd line technical support and providing technical escalation for the wider IT team
• Experience of delivering end user services, ideally in on-premise, hybrid cloud & cloud infrastructure
• Experience working within a project environment, delivering infrastructure solutions and transitioning to BAU support
• Managing relationships with 3rd party contractors and suppliers
