About the Role: My client is recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant to join their team on the outskirts of Walton-On-Thames. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the financial health and strategic planning of a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial performance and contribute to business planning and forecasting.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
• Manage and oversee the financial reporting process.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Part Qualified or Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
