Senior Accountant

Investigo is assisting a Local Authority in Gloucestershire who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

As Senior Accountant, you will work alongside the Finance Director and Chief Accountant to provide effective corporate and operational financial management for the Council.

Key responsibilities include leading the development and improvement of the Council's financial reporting framework and systems, providing technical accounting advice, and supporting the Council's savings and transformation program.

The position offers salary of £50,500 per annum, with opportunities for continuous development and promotion. Public sector experience is not required - they are simply looking for an adaptable individual with a commercial mindset who is eager to learn.
