Reconciliation Team Leader
My client an industry leader are currently recruiting for an a reconciliation team leader on a permanent basis.
Hybrid Working - 2 days per week in Bournemouth
Hours: Monday-Friday
Salary: c£35,000 per annum
Role Description:
The Reconciliation Team Leader oversees the daily operations of the Reconciliation Team located in Bournemouth. Their responsibilities include ensuring efficient management of the team and supporting the Financial Operations Manager in all aspects related to the Reconciliation Team's activities
Key Responsibilities:
As the Reconciliation Team Leader, your role involves comprehending potential risks and managing expectations, especially critical business deadlines.
You oversee teams, ensuring unwavering adherence to best practices, Service Level Agreements, regulatory mandates, Group Policies, and Quality standards. Your technical expertise supports team members, resolving queries promptly to meet SLA and regulatory benchmarks.
Motivating and coaching team members, you utilize performance management systems to achieve PPP/PDP objectives, fostering a highly valued team. Actively contributing to process enhancements, you strengthen internal and external relationships, maintaining high departmental standards while reducing costs.
Your responsibilities encompass resource and workflow management, monitoring Management Information and SLAs to meet regulatory requirements and business goals. Additionally, you play a pivotal role in recruiting new team members, conducting interviews, and making recommendations.
Skills & Experience:
Essential: Prior experience within a Finance/Accounts department, particularly with exposure to reconciliation.
Advantageous: Familiarity with Oracle and/or SAP systems.
Additional Advantage: Knowledge of Blackline systems.
Proficiency: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Understanding: Familiarity with business systems and processes and their interrelation.
Adaptability: Ability to flexibly respond to changing needs and priorities.
Qualification Consideration: AAT (part-qualified candidates may be considered with relevant experience)
