Job description
Principal .NET Software Engineer
Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £550 per day
Duration: 6-month initial duration with highly probable extension
Location: UK Remote; with occasional need to go into Nottingham HQ c. 1 day p/m
Investigo are partnered with a market leading software house in Nottingham who are looking to engage a Principal level Software Engineer to join a feature team on a performance project. We are looking for a strong hands-on .NET development experience producing highly performant code on complex systems and someone who is a genuine problem solver with minimal direction. This role will work on a project outside of BAU and we have confirmed this role is outside IR35 - you'll join a group of consultants on this project who will be doing the majority of heavy lifting on the core platform that works with thousands of customers per day.
Skills
- A hands-on development background working with highly complex applications using C# .NET
- Experienced working on XaaS applications, ideally using Azure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experienced working in small but effective Agile teams
- Any experience working on performance projects previously (monitoring, optimisation, etc) would be hugely beneficial
This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £550 per day. Initial contract duration will be 6 months, the process will be submissions no later than Friday 7th June with interviews taking place immediately and offer/onboarding swiftly after - therefore an immediate start is preferred. There is an occasional need to be in the Nottingham HQ, but this wouldn't exceed a couple of days per month and will likely be a sole trip each month.
