Job Title: Network Architect
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 p/a

Are you a seasoned Network Architect with a passion for innovative solutions and a desire to work in a global manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our team and help us continue to build and maintain robust, efficient, and secure network systems.

The Network Architect will serve as a technical expert in the network and security architecture domains. This role involves strategically orchestrating network design and architectural planning to align seamlessly with business objectives and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design & Architecture: Expertise in network design and architecture, including a solid grasp of technologies like Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and robust security principles.
  • Industry Standards: Proficient in working within ITIL, PRINCE2, and ISO27001 frameworks, ensuring compliance and best practices are upheld.
  • Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of industry-standard implementation architectures and methodologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with SD-WAN, Cisco technologies, and comprehensive network design.
  • Company Values: Consistently embody and promote the core company values in all professional interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively with board-level stakeholders.
  • Complex Network Systems: Competence in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network systems, including LANs, WANs, data centres, and cloud networks.
  • Professional Certification: Possess relevant certifications or equivalent experience in recognised architecture frameworks.
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate extensive knowledge of network protocols, standards, and architectures such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS, SDN, and NFV.
