MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

£42,000 - £50,000 + Study Support, 10% Bonus and Great Benefits
Hybrid Working (1-3 days typically in the office)
Central London

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing day to day accounting records, and presenting these to senior management. You will be a naturally inquisitive person, with strong technical skills and a desire to make improvements. This role is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in an exciting casual dining business, as well as gaining valuable experience deputising for an FC when required.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the preparation of month-end and year-end management accounts, including accruals & prepayments

· Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including flagging risks and opportunities

· Preparation detailed financial analysis including commentary for review with senior management

· Partner with GMs to review P&Ls and answer any queries they have

· Produce Weekly and Monthly financial reports for Operations

· Ownership of Property costs, including posting and paying invoices

· Proactively drive improvements across systems, processes and profit

· Prepare quarterly VAT returns

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting

· Assist with annual audit

· Deputise for the FC, and assist with any other ad hoc reporting

Requirements:

· Essential

o Part Qualified / Finalist (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

o Good Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc)

o Attention to detail and ability to understand and map processes end to end

o Ability to present financial information in easy to understand formats for non-financial colleagues

· Desired

o Relevant experience in Hospitality sector

o Systems experience - Microsoft Dynamics Navision/Business Central, Comtrex, Fourth Hospitality
