Junior Power BI Developer

Location: Salford (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Benefits

We are currently working exclusively with an exciting organisation who are currently looking for a Junior Power BI Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about data and visualisation to take true ownership over the data function with in the business. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards, turning data into actionable insights. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact reporting solutions while enhancing your technical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take true ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and interactive dashboards
  • Create reports that will help guide Blue chip organisation around how they can be more efficient with the facility management and energy consumption
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading to ensure clean and accurate data
  • Optimise Power BI solutions for performance and scalability
  • Work with third-party Power BI consultants to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Upskilling and staying updated with the latest Power BI features and updates to enhance reporting solutions

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in Power BI with at least 1 year of experience in developing reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with Power BI components such as Power Query and Power Pivot etc
  • Basic understanding of data modelling, SQL, and DAX would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively.
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate the findings from the reports
  • Confidence to work independently and take ownership of tasks
