**Contract Software Engineer - Java - AWS Cloud Native Specialist**

**Role**: Contract Software Engineer
**Duration**: 6 month (rolling)
**Compensation**: £720 per day (via umbrella company)
**Client**: Prominent Insurance Firm

**Key Qualifications**:
▫ Background in Java development; Python proficiency is highly desirable
▫ Proven expertise in AWS Cloud Native technologies
▫ Extensive experience with API development and management
▫ Proficiency in serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambdas
▫ Strong background in container orchestration using EKS or similar platforms
▫ Solid understanding of API design principles and Cloud Security measures
▫ Demonstrable experience with recent API and integration projects

**Responsibilities**:
▫ Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure APIs
▫ Implement and maintain AWS Cloud Native solutions
▫ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various services
▫ Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices
▫ Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
