Interim Director of People Operations

We are partnering with a global Technology business to fill an Interim Director of People Operations for a period of 5-6 Months whilst they recruit permanently.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer the Director of People Operations at is a member of the People Leadership Team and is responsible for building and executing exceptional and data-driven people operations practices, tools and processes. This role is responsible for policies, HR systems, analytics, payroll, benefits, compensation, people process administration, compliance, and employee relations teams

• Birmingham, Midlands
• Circa £700-800 per day
• Hybrid working pattern - 3 days in office 2 from home

This is a varied contract and will suit a data led specialist in the HR space, with experience of running cross-functional and global operations teams, and creating a future-focussed, highly automated People function

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting the delivery of global HR/People operations functions
• Experience implementing automation and AI for people processes
• CIPD Level 7 qualification preferred
• Experience in process mapping, re-engineering and continuous improvement (six sigma green or black belt preferred)
• Experience in specialist HR/People domain areas, including payroll, benefits, and employment law in, at a minimum, UK and India
• Strong knowledge of HR technology
• Strong analytical skillset
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
