Group Statutory Accountant

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a large Milton Keynes based Multi-Site organisation who are looking to add strength to their team by recruiting a Group Statutory Accountant, on a permanent basis.

The Group Statutory Accountant is a newly created role and will work closely with the Financial Controller, Tax Accountant and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Completion of annual financial statements in UK GAAP including group consolidation and workings behind the financial statements and compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Production of subsidiary financial statements ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• IFRS accounting adjustments required for monthly Group Reporting
• Influencing and supervising the Group's accounting policies and procedures, including revenue recognition, acquisition consolidation etc
• Technical support to new projects with accounting and finance implications.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Finance Team and the Group's auditors.
• Assisting in ensuring best practice governance and reporting.

The successful Candidate is likely to be a Professionally Qualified individual with a strong technical accounting background. They may be working in Practice and looking for a first move into industry where they can utilise their experience of IFRS and UK GAAP but in a commercial arena.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite as this role will have engagement with all areas of the business including the C-Suite.

Our Client is offering a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 Dependant on Experience
