This role will suit someone who is looking to gain all-round experience in a consolidation system, which is used for month end reporting, year end reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Role overview:

The Group Reporting Analyst is part of the group finance team.
The role will help maintain data integrity (completeness and accuracy of data), and for ensuring high quality reports that meet the needs of the business. The Group Reporting Analyst is expected to work closely with the FP&A, Tax and Treasury teams to ensure that their information requirements are met.

Responsibilities will include:

FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Support the group finance team in the production of monthly and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure that Prophix is adapted to meet the evolving statutory disclosure requirements.
  • Work with the group finance team to ensure complete and accurate monthly reporting is submitted into Prophix.

BUDGETING & FORECASTING

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting workflow.
  • Work with FP&A to ensure that new business information requirements are incorporated into budget and forecast reports.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Maintain and develop high quality reports and dashboards that meet the needs of the business.
  • Continue to establish and embed financial policies, procedures and controls across the group.
  • Develop processes to enable consistent, timely group reporting that would support a public company.
  • Adapt a mindset of continuous improvement with respect to chart of accounts rationalisation, month close, system performance, etc.

Candidate specification:

  • Part qualified / Finalist level
  • Good knowledge of, and interest in, consolidation systems.
  • Technically strong, with knowledge of IFRS.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team player.
  • Mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset, feeling at ease with regular business interactions.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in group accounting function.
  • Experience of multi-currency consolidation.
