Group Management Accountant

Investigo are delighted to be supporting a high growth, pre-IPO business with their recruitment of a Group Management Accountant, on a permanent basis.

The Group Management Accountant will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts for the UK business and its global subsidiaries. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in budgeting and statutory accounts preparation.

You will be working with the Group Finance Manager who is responsible for the day to day financial operations of the group.

Key Duties will include:

• Preparing management accounts, analytical reviews and associated reporting.
• Ensures complete and accurate recording of all assets and liabilities and timely completion of the financial statements.
• Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts monthly, dealing with multiple currencies including revaluation of multiple ledgers.
• Maintains various balance sheet account reconciliations. Analyses and interprets data to gain a detailed view of the balance sheet whilst ensuring that all reconciliations follow best-practice and can be easily reviewed by management and external auditors.
• Reviews and analyses Profit and Loss fluctuations
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
• Assisting with cash flow management: manage cash flow effectively to ensure that the organisation has enough cash on hand to pay bills and invest in new opportunities.
• Assisting in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting including monitoring against actual financial data
• Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Assisting with ad hoc projects

The successful Candidate is likely to be a Professionally Qualified individual although a Finalist would be considered. They will possess broad accountancy knowledge including completion of month end procedures, post journals, reporting and annual processing functions in a timely, compliant and accurate manner.
Working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP would be advantageous.

The Salary on offer is £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
