Financial Reporting Lead

Investigo is currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Lead for a client of ours based in Manchester. In this role, where you'll manage a team of 7, you will play a critical part in ensuring the end-to-end business unit reporting processes are executed with precision.

Your daily responsibilities will revolve around providing senior-level support to our valued customers in various key finance areas. You will be instrumental in the transition to a Global Process Owner model, which is central to our client's future financial strategy. Establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders, including franchise and legal entity Financial Controllers, will be crucial. As a Team Lead, your role includes shaping the financial control strategy for your business area. Your primary objectives will encompass delivering high-quality and consistently accurate financial outputs within SLA, ensuring the integrity of financial information, and implementing robust analytical procedures to understand the business's key drivers. Furthermore, you will oversee adherence to policies and control environment governance, participate in or lead strategic initiatives, and foster a customer-centric ethos.

Additionally, your ability to build and nurture senior-level relationships and drive financial control and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting, and external audits, is crucial for success in this role.
