Financial Controller

Investigo are delighted to be supporting a large Milton Keynes based Financial Services business with their recruitment of a Financial Controller, to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

The Financial Controller role is being offered on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 18 Months.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the main responsibilities of the Financial Controller are managing all finance and accounting operations, ensuring resources are allocated accordingly, reporting deadlines are achieved and assisting in month-end reporting along with reviewing and approving journals, payments and invoices. Assisting with internal and external audit reviews and being part of the Operational Managers team as the Accounts representative.
This role will manage a team of 8-10 people across Financial Accounting and Accounting Operations (AP/AR/Cash/Banking).

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with 5 years + experience in a leadership role. They will possess broad accountancy knowledge, including month/year end close experience and they will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and develop a team, challenging processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
Whilst experience of working within a Financial Services organisation is not essential, it would be advantageous.

Our Client is offering a Salary of £70,000 - £75,000 + Fully Expensed Car + Fuelcard + 20% Bonus
