Financial Accountant

Part Qualified Financial Accountant - Bedford - Up to £50,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join a leading, well-established, Private Equity-backed organisation in Bedford. This role offers a chance to be a key part of a dynamic team, contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Provide financial analysis and support for various business projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Ideally towards the end of their studies.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Private Equity-backed organisation.
