Finance Manager Opportunity 12 month FTC) - Luton - £70,000, plus an annual bonus up to £14,000

Are you a qualified accountant with a knack for managing finance transactions? Our client, a market-leading business in Bedfordshire is looking for a Finance Manager for a 12-month maternity cover, with a strong possibility of extension.

Role Overview:
- Lead their Financial Transactions team, overseeing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cashflow Forecasting.
- Manage a team, two direct reports, plus a number of indirects.
- Ensure smooth weekly payment runs, monthly reporting, and reconciliations.
- Handle cashflow forecasting, payment practices, month-end processes, and risk & control matrices.

Key Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes.
- Experience in cashflow forecasting, monthly reporting, and managing finance transactions.
- Proven people management skills, especially with experienced AP/AR managers.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to team building.
