up to £73k (depending on experience)

MUST have previously worked for a FTSE 100 or large PLC organisation recently.

I have exclusively partnered with a renowned and leading Consumer Health business in London, recruiting for an experienced EA to support the General Counsel. You will need to have at least 5 years experience supporting at C-suite level and must have worked for a FTSE 100 or billion dollar PLC company previously. Key responsibilities

  • First point of contact for General Counsel both internally and externally.
  • Ensure understanding of functional priorities, stakeholders, team members and ways of working.
  • In partnership with the GC , plan and manage the running of the function to ensure optimum
  • delivery.
  • Manage all functional meetings including scheduling, attendees and agenda setting,
  • proactively planning ensuring timing aligns to the functional & business priorities.
  • Support the Executive leadership team members, adhere to financial rigour for the function, ensuring regular
  • meetings with relevant Finance Partners
  • Proactively work with the Leadership team to understand key priorities or risks to be flagged
  • at a functional level (extended to HR & Finance Partners).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement across the function.
  • Undertake ad hoc reports/projects as required by the GC (eg. attending internal risk or
  • privacy forums).
  • Manage internal and external communication from the GC e.g. people announcements,
  • managing the external engagement plan in partnership with the Global Communications team where
  • required.
  • Manage the onboarding of new LT members, assist new starters, handle movers and leavers, with
  • input from the GC and HR. Act as a buddy to new starters in the team, guiding them through processes
  • and systems.
  • Provide comprehensive executive administrative support to the GC
  • Manage and prioritise diary, ensuring alignment to business priorities with minimal direction,
  • ensuring key stakeholders are looped in and offering solutions where conflicts may arise.
  • Inbox management - incoming and outgoing correspondence in a proactive and
  • timely manner.
  • Plan and manage GC's travel, including the preparation of agenda for trips.
  • Produce or collate documentation including preparation of materials in advance of regular key
  • meetings, including GC & Board meetings (eg. Presentations, talking points, meeting briefs).
  • Organise all logistics for meetings (visitors, catering etc), conferences and events whilst
  • adhering to the meetings policies, collaborating closely with internal/external parties.
  • Manage expenses, handle invoices and raise purchase orders related to the GC & team in a timely manner.
  • Take minutes during meetings to build, monitor and coordinate appropriate action logs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to function admin staff.
  • Liaise with CEO & Executive Team's Assistants to ensure alignment on diaries & activities.

Qualifications and skills

  • Familiar with the external business landscape, media and investor awareness.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the business' and functions strategic priorities to help triage
  • the demands on Executive member & their LT.
  • Able to build high quality, high impact relationships.
  • Able to work at pace, navigate complexity and solve problems.
  • Proven track record in effective communication with senior stakeholders
  • Delivering to the highest standard of professionalism as the GC representative.
  • Experience of influencing and supporting C-Suite Executives
  • Proactive, anticipating needs and requirements, with no prompting or guidance.
  • Confidentiality, recognising the level of stakeholder interaction within the role i.e. board members,
  • government, investors.
  • Excellent communication skills, awareness of interdepartmental relationships and ways of working.
  • Extremely competent IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office application usage.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, working with tight deadlines whilst maintaining an excellent eye for
  • detail.
