Digital Engagement Specialist

A well-known Further Education College based near Preston and Blackpool is looking to recruit a Digital Engagement Specialist for a 6 month initial contract on an hourly rate PAYE basis.
This is a role that will be hybrid with 2 days on site.

An enhanced DBS check will need to be undergone.

The college is looking for a Digital Engagement Specialist to lead on all paid social and digital advertising and conversion campaigns. The post-holder will also monitor, analyse and report on paid social and digital marketing performance to inform continuous improvement and optimal return on investment.

Essential Skills:

Ability to think and operate at Management level including the ability to think strategically
Ability to understand the commercial drivers across performance management, reporting, analysis and annual planning to improve efficiency and drive value
Ability to retain effective oversight whilst driving operational improvement
Evidence of ability to build and maintain collaborative working arrangements with internal customers and agency partners
Digital and social media marketing in a fast paced, complex environment
PPC and paid social media campaign management
SEO tactics to improve organic search performance
Re-targeting campaign management
Content management systems (CMS), including writing for the web and website maintenance
Reporting on website and digital campaign performance
Writing effective digital comms
Email campaign delivery and management
Intermediate knowledge of Google Ads
Intermediate knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console and Moz
Intermediate knowledge of social media marketing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Hootsuite and YouTube
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
