Director of IT (interim)

A UK wide, Not-For-Profit organisation is currently recruiting for an IT Director (interim) for an initial 3-6 month contract, to lead their 20+ strong technology team. This is an exciting role for an interim IT Director to lead the IT provision for the organisation, designing and developing delivery of excellent service to customers.
This is a fully remote role to start in June so you must be available for this timescale and interviews beforehand.

Key responsibilities -
Develop and implement IT strategy for day-to-day technology
Lead high quality service for staff and respond to day-to-day issue
Leading on a Salesforce function
Lead, develop, motivate the IT function, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Develop a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders to delivery projects and programmes effectively
Provide an effective approach to devices, business applications, infrastructure, security, and business continuity that underpins effective IT provision and a high-quality user experience

Key experience required -
You will have a track record of leading an IT function, developing, and delivering an effective IT strategy or significant change
You will have both strategic and operational experience across a full IT portfolio
Extensive experience in leading teams through change and implementing innovative solutions to long standing issues and problems and delivering results
Proven project management experience
Ability to come in and lead a team with confidence ensuring business initiatives are hit

Highly desirable -
Previous background working in charities / not for profit organisations in the role of Director of IT or Head of IT.
