Assistant Accountant, Temp to Perm Opportunity:

Our client, is seeking an Immediately Available Assistant Accountant professional to join their team. This is a temporary contract with one day per week on-site and the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be actively studying for a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with annual and interim audit processes.
• Support tax compliance and ensure obligations are met.
• Prepare financial reports to support decision-making.
• Aid with balance sheet reconciliations and management.
• Contribute to cash flow management and weekly cash position reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accounting controls are accurate and reliable.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Part-Qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (study support available) or Fully Qualified AAT.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset.
