Finance Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual looking for a Finance Manager role in a leading music organisation with a supportive culture and work-life balance.

My client is an established Music based businesses who is looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join the team on a 8-12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic role for a qualified accountant who has previously worked in a music, media or entertainment based organisation in a broad Senior Accountant or Finance Manager role. My client values building a supportive and welcoming environment and is looking for an individual who is friendly, approachable and hard working.

Please note, as this is a fixed term contract, you must be available to start this role on short notice.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Director, this role is responsible for:

• Manage and develop a team of professional accountants and support their day-to-day operations
• Implement and monitor controls related to all areas of financial accounting and reporting
• Manage the month-end close ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the required activities
• Be a point of escalation and approval for journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, etc.
• Oversee financial accounting for revenue, expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, production, inventory, intercompany and more
• Prepare the quarterly and annual reporting including liaising with corporate to resolve queries in a timely manner
• Support internal and external audit including acting as the key audit contact
• Work closely with International Tax team to set and implement global transfer pricing policies
• Assist with some budgeting related activities - i.e., understanding variances to budget

Your Background

You are an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you trained within a practice environment followed by 2-3 years experience as a Senior Accountant within a media/ entertainment based business.

Location

The office is based in Central London and offers WFH flexibility.
