Global Cyber Manager
This position will lead the security function - further details available upon request.
Office location is London - very flexible working set up.
Objectives of This Role
- Develop and implement robust cyber security strategies and policies.
- Assess risks, investigate breaches, and reinforce measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Lead and manage a global cyber security team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes.
- Conduct regular cyber security assessments, audits, and inspections.
- Maintain the security of applications, networks, and systems, including third-party service providers.
- Update emergency cyber response plans within the crisis management governance.
- Promote a culture of cyber security awareness and train employees on protocols and procedures.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement extensive cyber security plans, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and supervise a team of cyber security personnel.
- Conduct regular cyber security assessments and audits.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Investigate cyber security breaches, incidents, and violations.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners.
- Educate employees on cyber security awareness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information security-related areas.
- 10+ years of experience in cyber security management.
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security technologies.
- Skills in security management, cybersecurity, incident management, and response.
- Ability to develop and implement cyber security policies and programs.
- Proficiency in cyber security assessments, audits, and investigations.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Attention to detail and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of emergency cyber response planning.
- Adaptability to changing cyber security threats and technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management.
